Modern Trends in Vehicle Front Lights Design

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the modern trends in the design of the headlamps. The first part presents the sequential stages of development of systems used for headlamps and their design solutions. The second part focuses on the possible cooling alternatives of functional parts in lighting modules, completed with the results of comparative laboratory tests performed by front manufacturers of automotive lighting. The final section contains a comparison of the currently most widely used technologies in the vehicle front lighting.
The process of cultural adaptation of AFS exchange students to the czech culture

The thesis focuses on adaptability of AFS exchange students. It studies their ability to adapt to the Czech culture. In the first part the theoretical background of intercultural psychology, adaptation process and its possible obstacles is presented. It is based on many important authors, especially M. J. Bennett, J. W. Berry, W. Bridges, G. Hofstede, K. Oberg or J. Průcha. In the second part own research of adaptability of AFS students is presented. The data was collected through CCAI surveys. The results are used to compare the adaptability of the students in the beginning and in the end of the exchange programs and also to compare the genders, age groups and nationalities with each other.
Hydride generation study for arsenic speciation analysis with AAS and AFS detection

The general aim of this work was a development of methodology and instrumentation for speciation analysis based on the combination of the selective generation of substituted hydrides with atomic absorption or atomic fluorescence spectrometry detection. The first topic of this work was the development of methodology and instrumentation for arsenic speciation analysis based on selective generation of substituted arsines with trapping in the cryogenic trap (U-tube packed with chromosorb) with AAS detection (HG- CT-AAS). The conditions of the selective hydride generation approach as well as working procedure of the cryogenic trap were optimized (appropriate approach for hydride generation, set up of heating program of cryogenic trap, new dryer - cartidge with NaOH, elimination of unspecific absorption, decreasing of the detection limits). The second important part of the work lay in applying of the developed method for arsenic speciation analysis in a homogenized mouse liver tissue. The direct slurry sampling to hydride generator was develop. Moreover the information about oxidation state (iAsIII,V , MAsIII,V a DMAsIII,V ) was obtain. The effect of relevant experimental parameters such as tetrahydroborate concentration, TRIS buffer concentration and time of pre-reduction of the samples by L-cysteine...

Insurance frauds

The aim of my master thesis is to analyze the issue of insurance frauds. Theoretical part of the thesis familiarizes readers with the term insurance fraud, legislative in the Czech Republic, types of insurance frauds as well as with the ways to fight against insurance frauds. Practical part mainly covers the statistical and econometrical analysis of the size of detected insurance frauds in 2007-2014. Using econometrical analysis program Eviews is chosen the most suitable model for a time series and designed forecasts for years 2015 and 2016. The end of the thesis itself concludes economical interpretation of empirically measured and forecasted values.
